A tub liner is a flimsy acrylic product that slips over your existing bathtub, typically pushed by national brands as one day bathroom remodeling. They’re prone for leaking in between the liner and old tub creating a squishy showering experience.

 We install brand new tubs that you never have to worry about for about the same price as the “slip on tub guys”.  To replace a bathtub or shower system is typically only a two day job for an experienced bath specialist to do the job right. 

Well the obvious answer to that is appearance, with  a high pressure laminate surface, indented with distinguishing faux grout lines and aluminum trim, it really looks and feels like real tile.

 We all know beauty is only skin deep so aside from the appearance what makes our aqua-lock better is the patented click, lock and seal system. Since the panels are 3/8″ thick and rigid, there’s a hidden internal corner profile that seals and locks the corner together for a 100% watertight seal. You cant do that with acrylic, it’s too flimsy so your only barrier against water penetration is a single bead of caulk on a flexible 1/8″ thick panel.

Our panels aren’t something that just glues up over anything in one day, our system is part of a wet wall panel system successfully used for years in both commercial and residential applications all over the world.

Dealer costs are considerably more than acrylic panels, that’s why the “national brands” sell acrylic. It’s cheap and is marked up to huge profit margins to support bloated overhead and management costs, especially when they’re slapping them in one a day.
